One nice thing about being Justin Bieber: You don't have to actually climb the steps of famous landmarks, because that's what bodyguards are for.  Bieber is currently on tour in China, and pictures emerged on social media of the pop star being carried to the top of the Great Wall on his bodyguards' shoulders. Beliebers, not surprisingly, found the whole thing cute. A day prior, pictures showed Bieber skateboarding down a Beijing street as his poor, hopefully-highly-paid bodyguards ran to keep up.

Day two of the government shutdown.  Here's an update Obamacare is still happening.  And Congress now has a 10% approval rating. That's the lowest in history.

Conan O'Brien joked last night talking about the government shutdown.  He says the Statue of Liberty is closed so now the only purposeless giant woman you can climb inside is Khloe Kardashian.

Angelina Jolie was spotted over the weekend in Australia, with what appears to be a NEW gold band on her ring finger.  She's wearing it along with the engagement ring Brad Pitt gave her last year.  So does this mean they're already married, and they managed to hide it from us?  That's what everybody's wondering but there's no word from their reps yet.

Arnold Schwarzenegger's son Joseph Baena is turning 16 today ... and he's getting the perfect gift from his dad -- a complete home gym. In case you haven't noticed, Joseph is a behemoth -- a virtual carbon copy of a very young Austrian immigrant ... and Arnold clearly feels the apple may not fall far from the gigantic redwood tree.   Although Joseph lives with his mom in Bakersfield ... we've learned Arnold has established a very close relationship with the boy. They talk regularly on the phone and Arnold has flown him to several premieres.  As one source put it, "Once the truth came out, Arnold embraced Joseph.  Since then, they've been slowly building a great relationship."  FYI -- Arnold started pumping iron around the time he was 16 and he quickly blew up to become Mr. Universe. So, current Mr. Bakersfield ... watch your back!

In the new issue of "Vanity Fair", Jay Z says he could have snagged Beyoncé even if he wasn't a famous rapper . . . and even if he was a GAS STATION ATTENDANT.  But only if he still had the same level of coolness.  He says, quote, "If I'm as cool as I am, yes.  But she's a charming Southern girl, you know, she's not impressed... But I would have definitely had to be this cool."   Jay also says that when it comes to his music, nobody's opinion matters more than his 18-month-old daughter Blue Ivy's.  He says, quote, "She loves all the songs [on my new album].  She plays a song and she goes, 'More, Daddy, more . . . Daddy song.'  She's my biggest fan.   "If no one bought 'Magna Carta', the fact that she loves it so much, it gives me the greatest joy.  And that's not like a cliché.  I'm really serious . . .  She's genuine, she's honest, because she doesn't know it makes me happy.  She just wants to hear it."

Speaking of Blue Ivy, Jay says he and Beyoncé didn't trademark her name so they could profit from it.  They did it so NOBODY ELSE COULD . . . quote, "It wasn't for us to do anything; as you see, we haven't done anything."
