Dolly Parton has a new album coming out, called Blue Smoke.  She is also Miley Cyrus’ godmother!   During an interview on Access Hollywood, they asked Dolly about Miley’s sexy new image and if Dolly ever used sex to further her career. The ever adorable Dolly said that all along, she had a brain beneath her hair, and a heart beneath her boobs.

You probably heard that Matt Lauer dressed up as Pamela Anderson yesterday on the "Today" show.  Stephen Colbert heard it too, and he wasn't happy about it.  He says "Today" will have a new segment called, "Where in the World Is Matt Lauer's Dignity?"
Gary Busey lectured the paparazzi yesterday on ghosts.  Apparently he thinks he's an expert.  He says he once saw a ghost come out of a bowl of SOUP.  He says it was called a "soup ghost."  And he liked it because the best ghosts are the ones you can EAT . . . because they give you the power to fly.
Kim Kardashian and Kanye West think private events at major baseball stadiums should stay private ... and that's why they're suing the guy who allegedly leaked Kanye's precious, private proposal to a video-sharing site.  In the lawsuit their lawyer, Eric George, trashes Chad Hurley, the guy who co-founded YouTube and sold it to Google for $1.65 billion.   Kim and Kanye claim Hurley is the one who schemed to post the video on his new Internet venture, MixBit.  K & K go for the jugular, saying Hurley was desperate to find a "second act," after 2 flops following his YouTube sale.  In the lawsuit, Kim and Kanye claim Hurley wasn't even invited to AT&T Park in San Fran but manipulated his way in.   Kim and Kanye say they let him stay, but only after he signed a confidentiality agreement.  And get this ... they even got him to take a pic holding the signed confidentiality agreement, which is attached to the lawsuit.  The couple say, "Hurley proceeded to try to turn the event into one starring himself, broadcasting the images he knew were the exclusive property rights of someone else."

Specifically, Kim and Kanye say he posted Kanye's engagement proposal on MixBit and tweeted it to nearly a million followers.  He then had the audacity to issue a press release, touting his video trophy.  Kim and Kanye are suing for unspecified damages ... including punitives.  Even though Kim and Kanye don't say how much the video was worth, they mention it was destined for MC Cable Television, which is an arm of Bunim/Murray and E!, which produces and broadcasts "Keeping Up with the Kardashians."
Katy Perry just did an interview in Australia where she claimed that Mick Jagger once hit on her, when she was only 18. Mick says it didn't happen.  Katy recorded background vocals for one of Mick's songs called "Old Habits Die Hard", which was on the soundtrack to the movie "Alfie".  She says Mick hit on her when they went out to dinner while she was working with him.  The hosts ask her how she could turn down Mick, and Katy says she had to bring a friend so that Mick could sleep with the friend instead.  That part was probably a joke.
Demi Moore and Ashton Kutcher have settled their divorce, two years after they split up. Demi wanted spousal support on the grounds that Ashton was unfaithful . . . although it was probably a revenge thing more than anything else, since Demi is reportedly worth $150 million on her own. She didn't get it, because California is a no-fault state.  But sources say Ashton was, quote, "more generous than he had to be" when it came to splitting up the marital assets.
Chris Brown hopes his stint in rehab for anger management may help him dodge a bullet in the Rihanna probation case ... but our sources say probation officials see right through what he's trying to do. Sources connected with the L.A. County Probation Dept. say probation officials think Brown's violent outbursts have escalated and checking into a rehab facility now is "too little, too late."  The Probation Dept. is aggressively investigating last weekend's incident in Washington D.C. where Chris was arrested for assault.  It was first reported that probation officers interviewed Chris on Monday, hours before he checked himself into a Malibu rehab joint.  One source familiar with the case said, "Probation is gunning for this guy.  They're embarrassed by what he's done over the last 2 years and they've had it."  We're told the die has already been cast ... Probation will submit a scathing report to the judge, who will decide whether to revoke Chris' probation.  If that happens, Brown could be sentenced to prison for as long as 4 years.
The happy, goofy days of Jon and Kate Plus 8 -- when the overwhelmed but cheerful spouses Jon and Kate Gosselin seemed bonded for life as they minded their brood of eight small children -- feels like a lifetime ago. In the latest update with Jon three years after their marriage ended, the former TLC star confirms in a new Oprah Winfrey interview that he and Kate are virtual strangers.  "I don't really have a relationship with Kate. It's more texting, custodial stuff. I wish her the best in all that she does," Jon, 36, says. Now making ends meet as a waiter at a restaurant in rural Pennsylvania, Jon and Kate, 38, now share custody of twins Cara and Mady, 13, and 9-year-old sextuplets Alexis, Hannah, Aaden, Collin, Leah and Joel -- but it sounds like the former spouses are quietly at odds. "We're just moving in totally different directions, just totally not on the same page at all about anything," Jon says quietly in the video. "I don't really know what goes on in Kate's house, and she really doesn't know what goes on in my house. There is no cooperation," Jon adds.

For her part, Kate told Bethenny Frankel last month that she felt "sadness and empathy and pity" for her ex, and hinted that co-parenting remains something of a strain. "Without going into to much detail, we are making the best of it," she said. "I definitely want them to know that I did not want to hinder or stand in the way of that relationship with him." Add Jon in the OWN interview: "[We have] two different totally parenting styles, two different totally everythings. Which is a shame. Because it affects me. But it really affects my children."
