CROCKTOBER 10-16-15 Mozzarella Stuffed Meatballs

 

 

 

INGREDIENTS:

1 block mozzarella cheese (cut into ½” x ½” squares)

1 lb ground beef

1 lb Italian sausage

½ tsp garlic powder

2 tsp salt

1 tsp black pepper

1 cup bread crumbs

¼ cup Parmesan cheese

2 eggs

½ cup milk

½ cup parsley

45oz jar spaghetti sauce

 

DIRECTIONS:

Mix all ingredients together except spaghetti sauce.  Form mixture into desired size meatball.  Press cheese square into the middle of the meatball, make sure cheese is completely covered.  Add ½ spaghetti sauce in bottom of crock-pot, add meatballs and cover with reminder of sauce.  Cook on high for 2 to 2 ½ hours.

Serve on a toasted hoagie roll.
