Hozier is one of the most successful folk artists of the 21st century. Born Andrew Hozier-Byrne, the Irish singer-songwriter first toured internationally as a member of the Irish vocal group Anúna before going solo in 2012. His watershed moment came a year later when his first single, “Take Me to Church” was released. In 2014, it rose to No. 2 on the Billboard Hot 100 and ushered in Hozier’s self-titled debut, which itself reached No. 2 on the Billboard 200. “Take Me to Church” closed 2014 as Spotify’s most-shared song of the year and garnered Hozier’s first career Grammy nomination for Song of the Year.

His 2019 sophomore full-length, Wasteland Baby!, topped the Billboard 200 and was supported by Hozier’s first solo headlining world tour. In 2023, Hozier released his third album, Unreal Unearth. Throughout his career, Hozier has collaborated with artists such as Mavis Staples, Annie Lennox, Maren Morris, Noah Kahan, Brandi Carlile and composer Bear McCreary.
