The Chainsmokers, who consistently rank in the top five highest-paid DJs in the world. Best known for hits like “Closer” and “Don’t Let Me Down,” the electronic duo have announced two shows one of which will take place here in Colorado at Red Rocks.
The Chainsmokers are Alexander “Alex” Pall and Andrew “Drew” Taggart. They started out by releasing remixes of songs by indie artists. They have won a Grammy award, two American Music Awards, seven Billboard Music Awards. According to Forbes 2019 list of highest-paid celebrities, the Chainsmokers were the highest-paid DJs, dethroning Calvin Harris after six years.[6]
