Adele To Perform At 2022 Brit Awards

Pop superstar Adele has announced that she will perform at the Brit Awards as planned, squashing rumors that she has pulled out of the event.

“I’m really happy to say that I’m performing at the Brits next week!!” she posted on social media. “Anddddd I’ll also be popping in to see Graham for a chat on the couch while I’m in town, too!” indicating that she will also make an appearance on “The Graham Norton Show,” the London-based talk show.

Adele also dismissed another rumor that she and her boyfriend Rich Paul were having problems. “Oh, and Rich sends his love,” she added.

Adele has been nominated for four Brit Awards at the February 8 ceremony, including best album for her latest LP 30, and best British artist. She will join Ed Sheeran, Dave, Holly Humberstone, Liam Gallagher, Little Simz and Sam Fender on the lineup of performers.

Adele’s postponement of her “Weekends with Adele” residency on the eve of the launch had triggered rumors that the “Easy on Me” singer would also pull out from the awards show performance.

Adele was forced to postpone her Las Vegas residency as a result of Covid-related production delays.

“I’m so sorry, but my show ain’t ready,” Adele said in a video posted on social media. “We’ve tried absolutely everything we can to put it together in time and for it to be good enough for you, but we’ve been absolutely destroyed by delivery delays and COVID.”

“Half my crew, half my team is down with Covid. They still are, and it’s been impossible to finish the show,” she added. “And I can’t give you what I have right now, and I’m gutted.”
