Mariah Carey‘s “All I Want for Christmas Is You” has now spent its 16th week at No. 1 on the Billboard Global 200 chart, thus breaking the record for most weeks atop the tally.

The holiday classic also tops the Billboard Global Excl. U.S. chart for the 11th week.

Carey’s “All I Want for Christmas Is You” leads the Global 200 for a third consecutive week with 102.5 million streams, up 1%, and 12,000 sold, up 32%, worldwide December 8-14.

The song, originally released in 1994, has now spent a record-breaking 16 weeks at No. 1, following four weeks in both the 2020 and 2021 holiday seasons and five frames over last year’s holidays.

“All I Want for Christmas Is You” breaks the 15-week record of Harry Styles‘ “As It Was” set in 2022.
