Ariana Grande, Kelly Clarkson Perform ‘Respect’ On ‘The Voice’

Kelly Clarkson and Ariana Grande teamed up to perform Aretha Franklin‘s “Respect” on “The Voice” on Monday night, September 20.

Clarkson, John Legend and Blake Shelton are all returning as coaches to the singing reality show, with Grammy winner Grande making her debut as a coach, as she replaces Nick Jonas.

Meanwhile, Shelton and Legend sang Sam & Dave‘s “Hold On, I’m Coming.”

“happy first episode @NBCTheVoice!!!!!!! and welcome to #TeamAriana the wonderful katie rae, @kkmohler and @vaughnmugol,” Ariana tweeted after the show aired.

She added, “i hope you all loved the first episode. i am so excited for you all to see what’s to come and meet the rest of my team, you have no idea. more tomorrow!”

Earlier in the day, Grande also made an appearance on Clarkson’s daytime talk show “The Kelly Clarkson Show.”
