Ariana Grande Pays Tribute To Manchester Bombing Victims On Four-Year Anniversary

Ariana Grande paid tribute to victims of the Manchester Arena bombing on the fourth anniversary of the deadly terrorist attack.

Twenty-two people were killed and hundreds of others injured when an Islamic State suicide bomber carried out an attack in the foyer of the Manchester Arena as Grande’s concert closed and balloons were released into the crowd on May 22, 2017.

Grande left the stage unhurt, but she was so devastated that she indefinitely suspended her world tour.

“Although grief is ever present and our relationship to it is constantly evolving and expressing itself in different ways every day, year round,” Grande wrote on her Instagram story. “I know that this anniversary will never be an easy one. Please know that I am thinking of you today.”

“Manchester, my heart is with you today and always,” she concluded the message above a symbolic heart emoji made up of honey bees.

Grande also wrote the names of the 22 victims of the bombing below the image of the heart.
