Beyonce has earned an historic No. 1 on Billboard‘s Hot Country Songs Chart with “Texas Hold ‘Em,” which also marks her debut on the chart.
Another song by the pop and R&B/hip-hop superstar is also featured on the chart dated February 24; “16 Carriages” at No. 9.
These are the opening two tracks from Beyonce’s upcoming album, Act II, which is set for release on March 29.
“Texas Hold ‘Em” drew 19.2 million official streams and 4.8 million in all-format airplay audience and sold 39,000 in the U.S. the February 9-15 tracking week, according to Luminate.
With this, Beyonce has become the only artist to top seven of Billboard‘s multimetric song charts as a solo artist.
She is also the first woman musician to earn No. 1 rankings on both the Hot Country Songs and Hot R&B/Hip-Hop Songs charts.
Billboard‘s Hot Country Songs chart is ranked by streaming activity data, radio airplay audience impressions and sales-based data.
