Big Sean and Hit-Boy have teamed up on a video for “The One,” a single from their collaborative EP, What You Expect, which arrived on October 28.
The black-and-white clip shared by Sean and Hit-Boy features some behind the scenes footage of them working at a luxurious studio and some snaps of scenic views atop the Hollywood Hills in Los Angeles.
The song sees Sean starting off with a message to his friends-turned-adversaries: “Architect the way I take it to extreme measures/ Sometimes you gotta break your life down to build it better/ The game softened up a lot, it’s time to add some pressure/ A lot of peers, we ain’t spoke in years/ Yeah, you could go pr?tend like I ain’t her? but that just shows me how much y’all threatened.”
Sean and Hit-Boy previously shared the videos for “What A Life” and “Loyal To A Fault,” two other songs from the What Your Expect EP, in quick succession.
