K-pop superstars BTS have announced they will release a new single, “Take Two,” on June 9th via Big Hit Music to celebrate the band’s 10th anniversary.
The title of the song is a nod to BTS progressing into “their second chapter,” reads a statement from their reps at HYBE, and is said to be an “ode to their fans” – the BTS ARMY.
Suga was fully involved with the production of the song, while RM and J-Hope wrote the lyrics.
Big Hit Music, the band’s longtime label noted that all seven members of BTS had participated in the recording of “Take Two.”
“The song conveys their appreciation toward ARMY for all the love you shower them with and their desire to always be together with you,” said Big Hit. “We sincerely express our gratitude to ARMY for making the 10th anniversary possible with your endless love for BTS.”
