BTS’ Jimin Shares Video For New Solo Single ‘Like Crazy’

BTSJimin recently released a music video for “Like Crazy,” a song from his debut solo album Face.

The Oui Kim-directed video opens with a snippet of whispery dialogue from the 2011 romantic drama of the same name that starred Jennifer Lawrence, Felicity Jones and the late Anton Yelchin, in which Lawrence murmurs, “I think we could last forever.”

In the visual, Jimin is seen standing in a nightclub as Yelchin frets, “I’m afraid that everything will disappear.” Lawrence assures him, “Just trust me,” as the camera zooms into Jimin’s face and he’s looking forlorn in a kitchen, singing, “She’s saying, baby, come and follow me/ There’s not a bad thing here tonight.”

Jimin then walks through the partying masses on the crowded dance floor, taking shots and doling out high-fives before landing in a spooky hallway where the walls are bleeding a viscous black ooze.

“Give me a good ride/ I’m falling, falling falling/ Oh, it’s gon’ be a good night, Forever you and I,” Jimin sings in the dreamy chorus.

“I’d rather be lost in the lights, lost in the lights / I’m outta my mind / Please hold onto the end of this night / Each night, you spin me up high / The moon embraces you / Give me a taste.”

“I tried to express the feelings of that movie,” Jimin told Rolling Stone in a recent interview. “You know, the somewhat complex, somewhat lonely, somewhat happy emotions. I tried to express all these ambiguous and subtle emotions in a slightly sexy way, but I’m not sure how it’ll end up being received by people.”
