BTS’ Jungkook Tops Billboard Hot 100 With Solo Single ‘Seven’

BTS singer Jungkook has made his solo debut on top of the Billboard Hot 100, with his single “Seven,” featuring Latto, ranking No. 1 on the chart dated July 29.

“Seven” earned 21.9 million streams, 6.4 million in airplay audience and 153,000 combined digital and CD singles sold in the July 14-July 20 charting week, according to Luminate.

“Seven” is ranked No. 2 on the Digital Song Sales chart, No. 4 on Streaming Songs, No. 30 on Adult Pop Airplay and No. 33 on Pop Airplay.

Co-written by Circkut, Andrew Watt, Jon Bellion, Latto and Theron Thomas, the song was released on July 14.

Jung Kook is the second member of the South Korean boy band to top the Billboard Hot 100.

Jimin was the first BTS musician to lead the chart with “Like Crazy” in April.

“Seven” is followed by Jason Aldean‘s “Try That in a Small Town” at No. 2 and Morgan Wallen‘s “Last Night” at No. 3.

The Hot 100 blends all-genre U.S. streaming (official audio and official video), radio airplay and sales data.
