BTS‘ Suga is the latest member from South Korean pop group to announce a debut solo album, D-Day, under his alias Agust D.
BigHit Music announced that D-Day will drop on April 21. The album is the third-and-final release in a trilogy of Suga-as-Agust D’s music, following 2016’s Agust D and 2020’s D-2 mixtapes.
“SUGA took part in the overall songwriting and producing of the album,” BigHit added.
On Friday, Suga dropped the lead single from the upcoming album, “People Pt. 2,” featuring IU.
Suga will join Jimin, RM and j-hope as members of BTS who have released full-length solo albums after the group took a hiatus to seek individual careers and serve their mandatory military service.
Meanwhile, Suga is set to embark on a solo tour, with a slate of dates scheduled around the world this spring. From April to June, the K-pop idol will embark on the Agust D Tour, performing 11 concerts across the U.S. and Asia, with the final show set for June 25 in Seoul, South Korea.
