Rapper Cardi B, a strong advocate for the LGBTQ+ community, recently slammed homophobic people by calling them “just ugly.”

On Tuesday, January 4, the Grammy Award-winning rapper tweeted, “Every bad b***h have a gay best friend cousin.if you homophobic you just ugly.”

Cardi recently officiated a same-sex wedding for her Facebook Messenger series “Cardi Tries” with help from Raven-Symoné.

“You are probably wondering why I’m here,” Cardi B said in a clip of the show. “I’m going to get these two beautiful ladies married. Not only is it a special day for you guys, but it’s a special day for me. I want to thank you guys for making me a part of your beautiful journey.”

Meanwhile, the “Bodak Yellow” rapper is set to drop her sophomore album, a follow-up to her 2018 debut album Invasion of Privacy, in 2022.
