Chloe Bailey of Chloe x Halle has been cast in the debut feature film from new film studio and streaming platform, Creator+.

The 23-year-old R&B singer will star in the psychological thriller, Jane, which will explore the themes of social media anxiety and mental health from the perspective of a high school student.

Produced by and starring Madelaine Petsch of “Riverdale” and directed by Sabrina Jaglom, the film also features Chloe Yu, “Shrill” actor Ian Owens, and Oscar-winner Melissa Leo, among others.

“Mental wellness and anxiety issues for young adults are more prevalent than ever,” Petsch shared in a recent press release. “‘Jane’ resonated with me because it grapples with the perils of these uncomfortable and often taboo topics.”
