Chris Brown Apologizes For Mocking Robert Glasper’s Grammy Win

Chris Brown has apologized for mocking Robert Glasper after the pianist won the Grammy award for best R&B album.

Brown was among the nominees in that category along with Glasper (Black Radio III), PJ Morton (Watch the Sun), Mary J. Blige (Good Morning Gorgeous (Deluxe)), and Lucky Daye (Candydrip).

After he lost the award, Brown criticized Glasper on Instagram, saying, “Y’all playing. Who da f- is this?”

Within hours, a repenting Brown returned to Instagram to apologize to Glasper.

He started the message by congratulating Glasper, calling him “brother.”

“I would like to apologize if you took offense to my reaction at the Grammys .. you were not the intended target and I know I came off really rude and mean. After doing my research I actually think your amazing … THE ORGANIZATION ISNT DOING US BLACKS OUR DUE DILIGENCE. YOU AND I SHOULD never be in the same category,” Brown added.

“Two totally different vibes and genres. So from one black man to another.. CONGRATULATIONS.. HOPE YOU ARE ABLE TO FEED YOUR FAMILY FOR LIFE. God bless my G,” he said.
