Christina Aguilera has announce that she will be headlining L.A. Pride In The Park this summer.

“I’m headlining @LAPride 2022!” the singer wrote using a purple heart emoji on Twitter. “Join me at the official #LAPrideinthePark music event Saturday, June 11, at LA State Historic Park, a nonprofit event benefiting the LGBTQIA+ community. Get your tickets at http://laprideinthepark.org.”

Additional performers for L.A. Pride are expected to be announced in the coming weeks and months.

The multi-stage event is set to take place on Saturday, June 11, after a two-year break due to the Covid-19 pandemic.

“The inaugural L.A. Pride in 1970 set the foundation for what would become an annual celebration of the Greater Los Angeles LGBTQIA+ community,” said Gerald Garth, vice president of programs and initiatives.

He added, “Over the course of those 50 years, it has been inspiring to see neighborhoods throughout L.A. organize their own Pride celebrations. As we return to in-person events, L.A. Pride is honored to continue the tradition that we started 50 years ago, this time with the iconic Christina Aguilera in an iconic new location.”
