Coldplay have released an acoustic version of their most recent single, “Higher Power.”

Having released the original track on May 7, the band then followed it up with a futuristic music video, which opened with the audio snippet “Music of The Spheres,” confirming fans’ suspicions that the forthcoming ninth studio album would be titled the same.

The band has now released a stripped-back, guitar-forward version of the song, which is resonant of the group’s early days.

Meanwhile, the Chris Martin-led band performed on “The Tonight Show Starring Jimmy Fallon” on Wednesday, June 16, followed by a live performance from the Plaza on the “Today” show on Thursday, June 17.
