Courtney Love paid tribute to Britney Spears by sharing an emotional acoustic cover of the pop star’s song “Lucky” as part of her Instagram covers series.

In the middle of her performance, as a show of solidarity with Spears in her conservatorship fight, Love is seen singing with tears from her eyes.

“Someone asked me what song I was going to cover next. I don’t have a guitar player handy, so yeah.” The former Hole singer says in the video. “It’s written by one of those fantastic old Swedish people — gentleman — and it’s got like B-sharp 7th. I don’t know that s—. OK, let’s just try it.”

“Lucky” is a song from Spears’ second album, Oops!… I Did it Again, released in 2000.
