Doja Cat’s ‘Agora Hills’ Reaches No. 1 On Billboard’s Rhythmic Airplay Chart

Doja Cat‘s “Agora Hills” has reached No. 1 on Billboard‘s Rhythmic Airplay chart.

A 12 percent gain in plays helped the song improve its position from No. 3 to No. 1 on the chart dated December 23.

“Agora Hills,” from her fourth studio album Scarlet, is the most-played song on U.S. monitored rhythmic radio stations in the tracking week ending December 14, according to Luminate.

The title is influenced by the city in the Santa Monica Mountains, California, where Doja Cat spent some of her childhood years in an ashram commune and practiced Hinduism.

“Agora Hills” marks her 11th No. 1 song on Rhythmic Airplay. The last Doja Cat song to dominate the chart was “Paint the Town Red,” also from Scarlet.

“Paint the Town Red” led the chart for seven straight weeks, marking the longest run at No. 1 for any song in 2023.
