Drake‘s sixth studio album Certified Lover Boy, which dropped on September 3, continued its reign over Billboard‘s all-genre 200 chart for the second consecutive week.
The album earned 236,000 equivalent album units in the U.S. in the week ending September 16, down 61% from its debut week, according to MRC Data. In its opening week, the set earned 613,000 equivalent album units, marking the biggest week for an album since Taylor Swift‘s Folklore launched at No. 1 with 846,000 units on the August 8, 2020-dated chart.
Of Certified Lover Boy‘s 236,000 equivalent album units earned, SEA units dropped 60% to 227,000 units, representing 305.43 million on-demand streams, album sales comprise 6,500, down 86%, and TEA units comprise 2,500 units down 45%.
The album, which was originally set to release in January 2021, features JAY-Z, Future, Travis Scott, Lil Wayne, Young Thug, 21 Savage, Ty Dolla $ign, Kid Cudi, Rick Ross, Lil Baby, and Project Pat.
