Ed Sheeran & Bring Me The Horizon Share Studio Version Of ‘Bad Habits’

Ed Sheeran and Bring Me the Horizon recently released a studio version of the song “Bad Habits.”

Earlier, Bring Me the Horizon’s lead singer Oli Sykes and Sheeran took to social media on Valentine’s Day, sharing the news about the official studio version of the song by posting a FaceTime video call between them.

In the call, the pair discussed their “controversial” version of “Bad Habits” at the 2022 BRIT awards, which, in an unexpected surprise to viewers, featured guttural screams from Sykes.

“That show was nuts,” Sheeran said during the video chat. “It’s just a joy to be able to play electric guitar and actually rock out properly.”

“So many people are asking for a studio version, it’s mental,” Sykes said, to which Sheeran replied, “We have to get one out. Do you think we can turn it around fast? We’ll get Jordan and the lads on it and I’ll get the vocals in. Make sure it goes proper death growl at the end!”

The original version of “Bad Habits,” the lead single off Sheeran’s latest album, = Equals, was released in June 2021. The = Equals album debuted atop the Billboard 200 last October.

“Bad Habits” is currently nominated for “Song Of The Year” at the upcoming 64th Grammy Awards.
