Ed Sheeran has returned to the top spot on the Billboard Artist 100 chart, earning his 14th total week as the No. 1 musical act in the U.S.
Sheeran joins Justin Bieber and Post Malone for the seventh-most time spent atop the Billboard Artist 100.
The pop singer is riding high on the success of his latest album =, which is ranked at No. 11 on the Billboard 200.
Two of Sheeran’s songs are in the top 10 on the latest Billboard Hot 100 chart: “Shivers” at No. 8 and “Bad Habits” at No. 9.
Beach House made a re-entry on the Billboard Artist 100, coming at No. 10 on the chart dated March 5, while Billy Joel made his debut on the list.
The Artist 100 measures artist activity across key metrics of music consumption, blending album and track sales, radio airplay and streaming to provide a weekly multi-dimensional ranking of artist popularity.
