Elton John Earns First Billboard 100 Top 40 Hit Since 1999 With ‘Cold Heart’

Iconic musician Sir Elton John has scored his first Billboard 100 top 40 in over two decades thanks to his Dua Lipa collab “Cold Heart.”

“Cold Heart (Pnau Remix)” rose from No. 46 to No. 32 on the list dated October 16. This in John’s first entry into top 40 since “Written in the Stars,” with LeAnn Rimes, in April 1999.

“Cold Heart” dropped on August 13 via Mercury/EMI/Interscope Records. The single seamlessly blends together several favorite tracks from John, including “Sacrifice,” “Kiss The Bride” and, of course, “Rocket Man.”

Australian electronic trio PNAU, consisting of Peter Mayes and brothers Nick and Sam Littlemore, created the mashup.
