Eminem has shared a new song, “Houdini,” from his upcoming 12th studio album, The Death of Slim Shady (Coup De Grâce), along with a music video.
Eminem and his longtime collaborator Luis Resto produced “Houdini,” which cites Steve Miller Band‘s “Abracadabra” in the chorus and references Megan Thee Stallion‘s shooting incident on one of the lines.
“If I was to ask for Megan Thee Stallion if she would collab with me / Would I really have a shot at a feat? I don’t know, but I’m glad to be, back,” Em raps.
In the visual, directed by Rich Lee, Eminem, who plays the role of a magician, is seen in his Robin costume from the “Without Me” video.
The video features cameos from Dr. Dre, Snoop Dogg, Pete Davidson, comedian Shane Gillis, and a few others.
Ahead of the release of the new song, the rapper shared a teaser video, featuring magician David Blaine. The video sees Blaine eating a wine glass and Eminem saying, “Well, for my last trick, I’m gonna make my career disappear.”
The Death of Slim Shady (Coup De Grâce), which is Em’s first record since 2020’s Music to Be Murdered By, is likely to arrive this summer.
Music to Be Murdered By, which debuted atop the Billboard 200, earned Em his 10th consecutive chart-topper.
