Alt-pop star Halsey has given birth to her first child with boyfriend Alev Aydin.

The 26-year-old singer took to Instagram to share pictures of her daughter, Ender Ridley Aydin, who was born on Wednesday, July 14.

“Gratitude. For the most ‘rare’ and euphoric birth. Powered by love,” she wrote, alongside two black-and-white photos, in the first of which she gazes into Aydin’s eyes while holding the newborn across her chest.

The singer originally announced her pregnancy in January by posting pictures of herself with a prominent baby bump, along with a caption that included the rainbow emoji, which was indicative of the fact that the family had previously lost a baby due to miscarriage.

Having received 5 million likes on Instagram, the post also saw messages of congratulations from a wide of celebrities, including musicians of the likes of Demi Lovato, Maggie Lindemann, and Gracie Abrams, among others.
