Halsey Drops Bloody Live Video For ‘I Am Not A Woman, I’m A God’

Halsey recently released an official music video for the song “I Am Not a Woman, I’m a God” from their album If I Can’t Have Love, I Want Power that dropped last month.

Directed by Dani Vitale, the 3-minute-long film opens with a Toga-clad Halsey intently staring into the camera as red lights flash in the background.

“I am not a martyr, I’m a problem / I am not a legend, I’m a fraud / So keep your heart ’cause I already got one,” the 26-year-old belts out in the chorus of the song as thick, glossy blood splatters across their dress and face, with Halsey all the while maintaining eye-contact with the camera.

The music video arrives alongside the kick-off event of the singer’s recent partnership with Verizon & FriendsWithYou for the AR-based digital treasure hunt, “H1DD3N.”

Fans have been instructed to scan QR codes found on nearby signs in select Verizon 5G public spaces across New York City, Los Angeles, Chicago, Miami, and Seattle, after which they can experience larger-than-life art pieces soundtracked by Halsey’s song, “Darling” taken from the same album.

Additionally, participants also stand to win the grand prize of Apple’s latest iPhone 13 Pro. For fans residing outside of the five mentioned cities, the same is available to be recreated online.

“I am so excited to be a part of this immersive AR experience with Verizon. FriendsWithYou created this incredible art for the platform to showcase the power of 5G, and our fans can experience this art and my new track ‘Darling’ and potentially win the newest Apple device,” the singer shared in a recent interview with Billboard.
