Harry Styles‘ “As It Was” has earned the top spot on the Billboard Hot 100 songs chart for a 15th total week.
“As It Was,” which debuted at No. 1 on the Hot 100 chart dated April 16, claims the fourth longest stay at the top in the survey’s 64-year history.
The track also breaks a tie and set the record for the longest reign for a song by a British artist, jointly shared by Styles, Mark Ronson and Elton John until last week.
The song earned 66 million radio airplay audience impressions, 13.5 million streams and 3,000 downloads sold in the September 16-22 tracking week, according to Luminate.
“As It Was” is a song from the English singer-songwriter’s third studio album Harry’s House, released via Erskine/Columbia Records.
“As It Was” is followed by Steve Lacy‘s “Bad Habit” at No. 2 position on the Hot 100 chart dated October 1.
The Hot 100 blends all-genre U.S. streaming (official audio and official video), radio airplay and sales data.
Meanwhile, Don’t Worry Darling, a film starring Styles, premiered as the top movie in U.S. theaters with a weekend total of $19.2 million.
