HBO recently released the final trailer for The Weeknd‘s new drama series “The Idol.”

“The Idol,” directed by Sam Lavinson, debuts on Sunday, June 4, at 9:00 p.m. ET/PT on HBO and will be available to stream on Max.

The series premiered at the 76th annual Cannes Film Festival on May 22nd.

The series is co-created by Levinson, Abel “The Weeknd” Tesfaye and Reza Fahim, and stars the Weeknd and Lily-Rose Depp.

The Weeknd stars as Tedros, a powerful, sex-obsessed cult leader, while Depp stars as pop singer Jocelyn.
