Hip-Hop concert HOT 97 Summer Jam is set to feature a Swizz Beatz-led tribute to late hip hop icon DMX.
The concert will also feature DaBaby, Polo G, A Boogie, Migos, Meek Mill, Saweetie, MoneyBagg Yo, The Heavy Hitters Presents CJ and Friends featuring Farruko and El Alfa, DJ Megan Ryte and Friends, Rowdy Rebel and Bobby Shmurda.
“HOT 97 SUMMER JAM, is traditionally the official start of Summer but this year it’s the official return of Hip Hop,” said Ebro Darden, host of “Ebro in the Morning.” “We’re excited to present historic live performances for the culture and make iconic historic moments in hip hop.”
HOT 97 Summer Jam is scheduled to take place at MetLife Stadium in East Rutherford, New Jersey, on August 22.
Tickets are now available for purchase on Ticketmaster’s website, beginning at $70.
Bradford Tobin, president and CEO of station owner MediaCo Holding Inc., said in a statement, “Hot 97’s Summer Jam is returning in a major way and we are all eager to get outside and back to enjoying live music.”
“COVID-19 safety protocols remain a priority and the entire production team is working in close consultation with Metlife Stadium, as well as the state and federal guidelines to ensure the safety of our fans and staff,” he added.
