Kanye West recently dropped a new single and video, “Talking / Once Again,” featuring his daughter North West.

“Talking / Once Again” is a song by the American hip-hop superduo ¥$, comprised of Ye and Ty Dolla $ign. It was released as a promotional track on Wednesday, February 7, 2024, as the second single from the duo’s collaborative album Vultures. The song was produced by West alongside No I.D., James Blake and DJ Camper.

The music video was directed by Damiano and Fabio D’Innocenzo and features shots of Kanye and his daughter, alongside Ty Dolla $ign and his daughter, Jailynn Crystal.

In the video, Ye quietly gazes outward while holding North on his shoulders.

The song features themes of fatherhood, with Ty Dolla $ign rapping about remaining present in his daughter’s life, hoping for her to avoid mistakes he made as a young man.

“How much to stop the car from speeding? They might try to slow down/How much to stop my daughter from growing? I just can’t take it now,” Ty raps. In the clip, Ty gazes lovingly at his daughter, Jailynn Crystal, too.
