Hip-hop superstar Ye, formerly known as Kanye West, has reportedly started working on Donda 2.

According to Steven Victor, who has with Ye as COO of his record label, G.O.O.D. Music, the 44-year-old recently divorced artist has begun work on the follow-up to his 2021 album, Donda, which would mark the first-ever numbered sequel to one of his records.

“Ye has started working on his new masterpiece DONDA 2,” Victor exclusively told Complex.

The news comes a week after pictures of Ye working with Scarface in the studio were released.

There is no telling when the album might be released, especially given the long delays that prefaced the release of Donda, but according to Victor, the record may see the light of day later this year.
