Kelly Clarkson covered Cher‘s “DJ Plays A Christmas Song” during the “Kellyoke” segment of a recent episode of “The Kelly Clarkson Show.”

“DJ Play a Christmas Song” is a new No. 1 single that appears on Cher’s debut holiday album, Christmas.

Clarkson was accompanied by her band Y’all, as she gave the song her signature treatment.

“DJ, play a Christmas song/ I wanna be dancing all night long/ It’s cold outside, but it’s warm in here/ And that’s the only thing I want this year,” she sings in the chorus.

Cher recently became only the second act after the Rolling Stones and the first female artist to have No. 1 songs in seven decades.

“DJ Play a Christmas Song” topped the Dance/Electronic Digital Song Sales chart last month, while Christmas debuted atop Billboard‘s Top Holiday Albums chart earlier this month.
