Kylie Minogue Announces Las Vegas Residency

Australian singer, songwriter and actress Kylie Minogue has announced a new Las Vegas residency.

Minogue will join the ranks of Adele and Celine Dion who have previously played exclusive residency at the Voltaire nightclub at The Venetian in Las Vegas.

“The venue’s opening on November 3 kicks off the Australian pop icon’s first Vegas Residency where she will perform tracks from her highly anticipated release ‘Tension,’ alongside many of her greatest hits including ‘Can’t Get You Out Of My Head’ and ‘All The Lovers,’” the Venetian said on its website.

“I’ve performed a couple of times at Vegas, but as part of a tour, and particularly when I did the Showgirl tour in 2004 – at that time we said, ‘oh, this feels like a Vegas show’,” Minogue told reporters in Los Angeles.

The Australian pop star will sing songs from her upcoming album Tension, which is set for release on September 22 via BMG Rights Management and Minogue’s company, Darenote.

Tickets for the residency go on sale on August 9.
