Lewis Capaldi recently shared a heartfelt video for his new single “Pointless.”

Directed by Hector Dockrill, the beautiful video follows the relationship and unconditional bond between a mother and her son.

“I love when she laughs for no reason/And her love’s the reason I’m here,” Capaldi sings. “She knows when I’m hurt and I know when she’s feeling scared.”

“Pointless” is the second single released from the Scottish musician’s upcoming sophomore album, Broken By Desire To Be Heavenly Sent, due out via Capitol Records on May 19.
