Lil Nas X Says He Was Accepted To Biblical Studies Program, University Denis Claim

Lil Nas X recently shared a picture of an acceptance letter for the biblical studies program at Liberty University, a Christian university in Virginia.

“I know some of yall hate me right now but i want yall to know im literally about to go to college for biblical studies in the fall. Not everything is a troll! Anyways IM A STUDENT AGAIN! LETS GOOO,” he captioned the post.

Nas X said he would be joining the university to take part in a dual concentration in Christian Leadership and Biblical Studies, with the course starting later this year.

However, Liberty University has since denied the artist’s claim, with a spokesperson saying the university did not issue the “acceptance letter” he posted on social media and have no record of him applying to the university.

The “Industry Baby” singer has a new gospel song set for release on Friday, January 12, titled “J CHRIST.”

Announcing the song, he created controversy after he shared the cover art featuring himself taking Jesus’ place on a crucifix as five bystanders begin to raise him off the ground.

“My new single is dedicated to the man who had the greatest comeback of all time,” Nas X wrote in the caption, and he also posted a picture on X, featuring four images of himself in priest robes with the words, “In the name of the Father, and of the Son, and of the Holy Ghost, amen.”
