Lizzo revealed on Monday (August 9) that her new single “Rumors,” set to be released on Friday (August 13), will feature Cardi B.

“GRAND RISING MUTHAF—ASSSSS.. GUESS WHOS HOPPIN ON ‘RUMORS’ W/ ME?!?” Lizzo captioned a FaceTime video, which shows her dialing up Cardi.

“Good morning, motherf—er! That’s who it’s featuring y’all, period,” says Lizzo in the video, with a sleepy Cardi answering the call. “It’s Harry Styles!” Lizzo adds as Cardi tries to shake herself awake to help celebrate the duo’s first-ever collab.

“Yo what the f—? What’s going on. Why you call me so early? It’s nine o’clock in the morning,” Cardi lamented.

Cardi B later wrote on social media: “all the rumors are truuuuue – me n my sis @lizzobeeating dropping this friday get ready.”

Lizzo had announced last week that “Rumors,” her first single in two years, would be out later in August.

“Don’t even like this post cus you REALLY gon like my post tomorrow,” she wrote on Instagram at the time. “NEW ERA B–CH. ‘RUMORS’. 8/13.”
