Maroon 5 and Megan Thee Stallion released a new collab, “Beautiful Memories,” on Wednesday (March 3).
“Beautiful Memories,” produced by Adam Goldstein and blackbear, is Maroon 5 and Megan’s first joint track together.
“I’m absolutely obsessed with the song. We love how it came out,” Maroon 5’s Adam Levine told Apple Music‘s Zane Lowe after premiering the track.
Levine, who called Megan “a superstar,” added that she brought an energy to the track that brought it all together.
“The way she built her part was just, it couldn’t have been a more epic kind of climax for the song. I mean, it really is absolutely perfect. So, I mean, what she did was just miraculous, and it brought the song to a whole new level,” he said.
After releasing her debut solo album Good News last fall, Megan joined Ariana Grande for “34+35(Remix)” and collaborated with Bobby Sessions on “I’m a King.”
Maroon 5’s last album was Red Pill Blues in 2017. It featured contributions from SZA, Kendrick Lamar, Future, A$AP Rocky, and several others.
