Mary J. Blige’s ‘Still Believe In Love’ Reaches No. 1 On Billboard’s Adult R&B Airplay Chart

Mary J. Blige‘s “Still Believe in Love” has reached No. 1 on Billboard‘s last Adult R&B Airplay Chart of the year.

“Still Believe in Love,” featuring Vado, was the most-played song on U.S. monitored adult R&B radio stations in the December 15-21 tracking week, according to Luminate.

The song rose to the top of the chart dated December 30 from the No. 2 spot the previous week.

“Still Believe in Love” marks the Queen of Hip-Hop Soul’s eighth Adult R&B Airplay chart topper.

This is for the first time that a song featuring emerging New York-based rapper Vado has reached the top of Adult R&B Airplay.

Co-produced by DJ Cassidy and Jeff “Gitty” Gitelman, “Still Believe in Love” was released in October. In the song, Blige sings about being selective in finding her next companion.

It is followed by Muni Long‘s “Made for Me” at No. 2; and “Good Good,” featuring Usher, Summer Walker and 21 Savage, at No. 3 on the latest Adult R&B Airplay Chart.
