Megan Thee Stallion Among Top Winners At 2021 BET Awards

Megan Thee Stallion was the top winner at the 2021 BET Awards, as she took home four awards, including best female hip hop artist, video of the year, best collaboration and the viewer’s choice award.

Megan won the award for video of the year and best collaboration for her blockbuster hit “WAP” featuring Cardi B. She won the viewer’s choice award for “Savage,” her collab with Beyoncé.

Meanwhile, Megan won the awards for the best female hip hop artist and the viewer’s choice award for the second year in a row.

Jazmine Sullivan‘s Heaux Tales won the album of the year award, while H.E.R won the best female R&B / pop artist. Chris Brown took home the award for the best male R&B / pop artist, while Lil Baby was named the best male hip-hop artist.

Andra Day, Cardi B, Giveon, and Silk Sonic were also among the winners at the 2021 BET Awards.

The award ceremony was hosted by Taraji P. Henson, which this year featured the theme “Year of the Black Woman.” Queen Latifah was presented with the Lifetime Achievement Award.
