Miley Cyrus Shares Video Of Live Debut Of ‘Flowers’

Miley Cyrus recently took to Instagram to share a video for her live performance of “Flowers,” which she sang during a pre-Thanksgiving party at Los Angeles’ Chateau Marmont on November 29th.

Cyrus, with just a piano backing her up, rendered a stripped-down, jazz-ified version of “Flowers” at the party.

The video opens with footage of the crowd mingling and Miley greeting her guests as a piano player tinkles around in the background while a list of accomplishments fills the screen:

“Flowers – Spotify’s #1 most streamed song of 2023 globally, Billboard top global 200 song, Billboard top global (excl. U.S.) song, Billboard top radio song, Danish Music Awards international hit of the year, NRJ Award International song of the year, NRJ International Music video of the year,” reads the crawl.

“My birthday gift to MYSELF this year was VERY on brand,” Cyrus, who celebrated her 31st birthday on November 23rd, wrote in a separate Instagram post. “I performed for MYSELF and sang my favorite songs including my own. First ‘live’ performance of Flowers was to an audience full of my friends and family. Taking this song back to the seed. she sprouted sensationally.”

“Flowers,” which is from Miley’s eighth album, Endless Summer Vacation, debuted at No. 1 on the Billboard Hot 100 and logged eight non-consecutive weeks on the tally. The song earned Miley her second No. 1 on that chart.
