Rapper Nelly has apologized after a sex tape of his was posted on his Instagram account.

“I sincerely apologize to the young lady and her family; this is unwanted publicity for her/them,” Nelly told TMZ and Us Weekly in a statement. “This was an old video that was private and never meant to go public.”

On Tuesday, February 8, an explicit clip of Nelly receiving oral sex was posted on his Instagram Story. The video was quickly deleted but not before it was recorded and re-shared online.

According to TMZ, Nelly also claims that he might have been hacked. His team is reportedly conducting an investigation on the breach and are concerned that more of Nelly’s private content may also end up online, including financial information, personal documents and passwords.
