A new Lil Nas X song, titled “Here We Go!,” is set to feature on the soundtrack of the upcoming Eddie Murphy film, Beverly Hills Cop: Axel F, which is scheduled to arrive on Netflix on July 3.

The “Here We Go!” track will be out on June 28, nearly a week ahead of the film’s release.

Netflix shared a photo of the rapper posing with Murphy on Instagram. Lil Nas reshared the snap on his Instagram Story.

Axel F, directed by Mark Molloy, marks the fourth installment in the Beverly Hills Cop franchise. The move comes 30 years after the third film and 40 years after the original.

For Lil Nas, “Here We Go!” marks his first solo release since “Where Do We Go Now?,” which featured in the Long Live Montero documentary in 2023.

Lil Nas’ last record was his debut LP Montero in 2021.
