Post Malone To Appear In Upcoming ‘Road House’ Remake

Post Malone is set to appear in the upcoming remake of Road House, starring Jake Gyllenhaal.

On Tuesday, February 13, Amazon Prime Video‘s official X account shared a series of character posters, which also showcased the first look of the rapper as “Carter.”

Later, Gyllenhaal took to his personal Instagram account to share a photo of himself with Malone. “A man of many talents. To say it was a pleasure working together is an understatement. Welcome to the #roadhouse @postmalone,” he wrote in the caption.

Malone made his acting debut in the action-comedy Spenser Confidential, which starred Mark Wahlberg in the lead role. He later starred alongside Jason Statham in Guy Ritchie‘s 2021 action-thriller Wrath Of Man.

The singer also had a voice cameo in 2018’s Spider-Man: Into The Spider-Verse, which featured his blockbuster hit single “Sunflower” with Swae Lee.

Road House, directed by Doug Liman from a screenplay by Anthony Bagarozzi and Chuck Mondry, is a reimagining of the 1989 film of the same name.

In addition to Gyllenhaal and Malone, the movie stars Daniela Melchior, Conor McGregor, J. D. Pardo, Arturo Castro and Billy Magnussen. Joel Silver produces the film, as he did the original.
