Snoop Dogg To Join NBCUniversal’s Coverage Of Olympic Games In Paris

Snoop Dogg is joining NBCUniversal‘s coverage team for the Paris 2024 Olympic Games.

He will provide regular reports as a Special Correspondent from the Games, which are set to begin on July 26 in the French capital.

The announcement was made during halftime of the “Sunday Night Football” game between the Green Bay Packers at Minnesota Vikings on NBC and Peacock.

Throughout the Games, Snoop will speak with NBC Olympics host Mike Tirico and provide the large prime time U.S. audience with his unique take on what’s happening in Paris. He will explore the city’s iconic landmarks, attend Olympic competitions and events, and visit with the athletes, their friends, and families.

“I grew up watching the Olympics and am thrilled to see the incredible athletes bring their A-game to Paris. It’s a celebration of skill, dedication, and the pursuit of greatness,” said Snoop. “We’re going to have some amazing competitions and, of course, I will be bringing that Snoop style to the mix.”

Viewers of “Sunday Night Football” got a taste of Snoop’s unique take on sports during a “Snoop Year’s Eve” promotional video for the Paris Olympics.

The rapper joked with Team USA gymnast Suni Lee, basketball player Aja Wilson, skateboarder Jagger Eaton, and beach volleyball duo Kelly Cheng and Sara Hughes about their past triumphs and future Olympic dreams.
