Summer Walker recently released a new song, “Ex For A Reason,” featuring JT of the City Girls. The song is the first single from Walker’s upcoming sophomore album, Still Over It, due out on November 5.

The song, produced by Buddah Bless and Sean Garrett, sees Summer and JT firing warning shots to their unfaithful partners and then recalling that they are an ex for a reason.

The singers advise people to take control of their relationships and keep the negative energy from past ones out.

“That bitch your ex (Your ex), for a reason, oh/ Reason, oh/ I don’t wanna know if she stay or don’t/ I don’t make ’em do what she don’t,” they sing.
