SZA’s ‘SOS’ Debuts At No. 1 On Billboard 200

SZA‘s sophomore album SOS has debuted atop the Billboard 200, earning the singer her first No. 1 album on list.

The album bowed at the No. 1 spot with 318,000 equivalent album units earned in the week ending December 15, according to Luminate.

This is the fifth-largest debut of the year, behind Taylor Swift‘s Midnights, Harry StylesHarry’s House, Drake and 21 Savage‘s Her Loss and Beyoncé‘s Renaissance.

SOS also garners the biggest streaming week ever for an R&B album.

Of SOS‘ 318,000 equivalent album units earned, SEA units comprise 309,500, which equals to 404.58 million on-demand official streams of the set’s tracks, album sales comprise 7,500 and TEA units comprise 1,000.

SOS is SZA’s second studio album and a follow up to 2017’s Ctrl.
