Taylor Swift Surprise Drops Re-Recorded Version Of ‘Wildest Dreams’

Taylor Swift surprised her fans by dropping a revamped version of her 1989 single “Wildest Dreams” on Friday, September 17.

According to the singer, she re-recorded “Wildest Dreams” after being inspired by Swifties getting the song trending on TikTok.

“Saw you guys got Wildest Dreams trending on tiktok, thought you should have my version,” the star tweeted with several kissy-face emojis.

Meanwhile, Taylor is set to release Red (Taylor’s Version), a re-recorded version of her hit 2012 album Red, on November 19.

Red was Swift’s fourth studio album and has earned 7.5 million equivalent album units to date, according to MRC Data. It included Swift’s first career Hot 100 No. 1 single “We Are Never Ever Getting Back Together,” as well as hits like “I Knew You Were Trouble,” “22” and “Everything Has Changed” with Ed Sheeran.

In April, Swift had released Fearless (Taylor’s Version), the first re-recorded album in her music career. It debuted at No. 1 on the Billboard 200 chart.
